Join us for an exclusive roundtable to discover the challenges and learnings and explore the cutting-edge advancements from the first Post Quantum algorithm implementations in the telco ecosystem. This is a fantastic opportunity to see firsthand Post Quantum Implementation of how the telco industry overcomes the challenges while the operators and mobile vendors are taking the first trials on the implementation of PQC algorithms in key telco use cases. In addition, we will explore new opportunities coming from those implementations.
Demo 1: Securing IoT devices with PQC eSIM and maintaining state-of-the art security through crypto agility
The demonstration shows a proof of concept for an IoT deployment migration from classical security to Post-Quantum security thanks to PQC eSIM with cryptography agility capabilities.
Companies: IDEMIA Secure Transactions and Telefonica
Speaker: Benoit Collier, VP Product – Connectivity Services BU – IDEMIA Secure Transactions
Demo 2: Enabling quantum-safe EUDI wallet in future telecom network
The demo is about the PQC potential usage in the EUDI wallet within the telco network. the EU has published the eIDAS 2.0 and ETSI is working on technical standards. If the EUDI wallet is carried in the telco network, the security functions used in it will touch the migration of PQC or use PQC directly. The demo shows the quantum-safe EUDI wallet including its security features such as the verifiable credentials and digital identity, etc.
Company: Huawei
Speaker: Lun Li – Senior Engineer, Huawei
Demo 3: Quantum-safe IPsec protection against future network security threats
Turkcell and Nokia have successfully implemented quantum-safe IPsec encryption in a live mobile transport network, marking a significant step in protecting mobile communications against future quantum threats. This demonstration integrated Nokia’s industry-leading IPsec Security Gateway into Turkcell’s mobile transport infrastructure, ensuring the protection of critical data through quantum-resistant encryption techniques. By deploying quantum-safe cryptography, this initiative enhances the security of existing networks while preparing for the post-quantum era. For end users, this means their mobile communications remain secure both today and in the future, safeguarding sensitive data from potential quantum-based attacks.
Companies: Turkcell and Nokia
Speaker: Mehmet Durmuş, IP Network Associate Director, Turkcell
