Thomas Zimmermann is CEO of FREE NOW, the Mobility Super App with the largest vehicle choice for consumers across Europe. Next to ride hailing, FREE NOW offers micro-mobility services such as eScooters, eBikes, eMopeds as well as car sharing. Thomas Zimmermann joined the FREE NOW team in May 2018 as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In this role he was responsible for Marketing, Revenue & Marketplace Management and Data. Previously, Zimmermann was VP Marketing and Operations as well as part of the Senior Management Team at Ioniq Group. At this time, he was also responsible for the Ioniq subsidiary Heartbeat Labs. From 2013 to 2017, Zimmermann led the Marketing department as Head of Marketing and later CMO at the online games provider Goodgame Studios, where he was also Managing Partner and Procurator. He has a diploma at the university of Ilmenau, where he studied Marketing & Market Research as well as Management & Organizational Design.
