Speaker Bio

Since August 2014, Andrew has served as the Executive Chairman of Glow Services Corp, a private tech company serving the Telcom industry worldwide. Glow is a SaaS-based tech provider of device financing/device insurance and device trade-in platforms for Telcos, OEMs and consumer electronics retailers. He is an active member of the YPO, a global CEO organisaton. He also serves on the Board of Directors & subcommittees of Liberty Global, a large European telco.


In addition, Andrew has founded multiple companies including GB News (a nationwide TV news channel in the UK in 2021), DAD Ltd (currently bringing the UK Telcos together to enter the UK advertising market) and My Views Media Inc (a new platform to allow TV content viewers to control what they watch).


Until August 2014, he was the Chief Executive Officer and Director of the EMEA division of Asurion Corp, a now old-fashioned device protection (e.g. phone insurance) company.  He assumed that role in May 2009, after serving as Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President at Asurion Corp in the US from April 2007.


Andrew has over 30 years of experience working in the Telecommunications and Media industry with a particular depth of experience in the mobile sector. 


Over this time he was a management consultant partner serving clients such as Telcos, MVNO's, OEMs and the West coast tech companies. Of note, he was hired by Steve Jobs on the iPhone® in 2005-06 to help negotiate mobile entry with US and UK telcos when he was president of CSMG Adventis, a strategic consultancy firm that focused on the telecom media and entertainment markets, from October 2005 to April 2007. Prior to this, he worked as a Partner & head of Telecom & Media at KEARNEY and Senior Consultant at LEK Consulting.


Andrew was educated at Oxford and Bristol universities in the UK and attended Christ College Brecon, a UK boarding school.
