Speaker Bio

Catherine heads a network of professionals who work with governments around the world to help create better outcomes for people and communities.


During her 27-year career in professional services, she has specialized in risk management, worked with government organizations in Australia and led EY’s Government, Health and Life Sciences practice across the Oceania region.
Catherine helped to establish EY’s Indigenous Sector Practice in Australia, and mentors women in business and public service.


She has a particular passion for education, working with universities across Australia to improve research, teaching and learning.


Outside EY, Catherine chairs the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee of Melbourne Park, the largest sports and entertainment precinct in the Southern Hemisphere, which is best known as the home of the Australian Open tennis tournament.



She is a graduate of the Australian National University and is among the alumni of the Harvard University Strategic Leadership Program.



In June 2024, Catherine was named among the top 200 Women of Influence in Australia by the Australian Financial Review.
