Faeza Asad Khan is a seasoned leader with over 20 years of international experience in driving strategic change and spearheading innovative solutions across the corporate, government, and nonprofit sectors. She holds a Master’s degree in Intelligent Systems from University College London (UCL) and has successfully passed the Chartered Accountancy exams with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS). Faeza began her career in 2004 with PwC London, starting in the Financial Service Assurance team and quickly advancing to the Corporate Finance Infrastructure, Government, and Utilities division.
As Chief Strategy Officer at Abacus, Faeza is at the forefront of defining the long-term vision and strategic direction for technology teams, focusing on innovation, AI, and big data. She collaborates closely with key clients, including major telco companies such as Safaricom, leveraging advanced technologies to enhance operational efficiency and drive impactful business outcomes.
Throughout her career, Faeza has demonstrated a remarkable ability to lead complex, large-scale projects. At the British Council, she played a critical role in implementing SAP across 17 countries, spanning South America to Southeast Asia, transforming internal reporting frameworks and enhancing organizational efficiency through digital technology.
Her expertise extends to managing strategic initiatives for high-profile companies and international development programs. She was instrumental in shaping the commercial strategy for a £180 million flagship FCDO programme, leading donor negotiations across 21 countries and deploying digital financial and data solutions to optimize operations.
Faeza’s vast experience in Africa, particularly across East and Southern African markets, has allowed her to lead transformative projects for major telecom giants like Safaricom. Her deep commitment to sustainable development fuels her passion for exploring the intersection of technology and climate action, advocating for innovative solutions that contribute to global sustainability targets.
