Kimberly Washington is a renowned serial entrepreneur and philanthropist with over two decades of experience spearheading international business ventures. She has a focused commitment to leveraging AI, space technology, and innovation for positive global impact, particularly in healthcare.


As the Co-Founder and CEO of Deep Space Biology, Kimberly directs the pioneering efforts behind Yotta, a cutting-edge AI space biotech platform. Yotta has achieved a world-first by standardizing over 25 years of NASA microgravity research, harnessing AI to forge novel healthcare discoveries in partnership with major institutions such as the Mayo Clinic and MD Anderson.


Under her guidance, Deep Space Biology has gained considerable acclaim, securing its position as one of the top 10 SpaceTech startups by Startus Insights, a NASA Genelab Success Story, and the winner of the Care In Space Global Challenge. The company was also recognized as a CreateX company by Georgia Tech and named among Codex World's Top 50 Innovators.


Kimberly's leadership has propelled a landmark collaboration with MD Anderson Cancer Center, winning a prestigious NASA/International Space Station Lab/CASIS multi-year grant for the initiative, Igniting Innovation: Science in Space to Cure Disease on Earth. This groundbreaking project involves sending T-cells to the International Space Station to advance cancer research and pursue potential cures.


Additionally, Kimberly founded Space4Girls, a global nonprofit dedicated to empowering young women to excel in STEM and become leaders in the expanding space industry. Space4Girls enhances self-confidence and leadership through educational programs, mentorship, and hands-on activities.


Kimberly also co-founded the Global Impact Club in the UK, bringing together visionary leaders to foster positive global change through innovative and collaborative solutions.


She serves on multiple international boards, including Leaders on Purpose, which is a strategic collaboration with experts from Harvard University, Unilever, The World Bank, and The London School of Economics, aiming to merge the CEO agenda with the global agenda through purpose-driven strategies.


Kimberly is a member of the advisory board for Precision Payload, led by Dr. Chris Mason of Cornell Medicine, and the advisory board of Generation AI at Ruben College, University of Oxford, which promotes advanced AI applications and innovation across various domains.
