Originally trained as an industrial designer, Joris Castermans’ career evolved through roles in innovation consulting, business development and alliance management in the IT and Telecom sectors. His multifaceted background has endowed him with a unique perspective on technology and user experience, which he has seamlessly integrated into Whispp's vision.
Joris's journey to founding Whispp is deeply personal. As someone who stutters, he understands firsthand the challenges and frustrations that come with speech disorders. This personal experience has fuelled his mission to empower individuals who stutter severely or have voice disorders, enabling them to speak freely and confidently in their daily lives and work.
