Nico has managed venture capital investments in high-tech companies for 25 years, actively supporting over 50 early-stage ventures and serving on the boards of 32 companies. He co-founded Adara Ventures in 2003, which manages $300M+ across multiple funds focused on early-stage ventures in Cybersecurity, Data and Applications, Infrastructure, Digital Health, Space, and more. Adara’s portfolio includes 47+ innovative companies.
Previously, Nico founded and led NETfractal, a Madrid-based venture fund. From 1992 to 1999, he was a partner at Monitor Company, advising global technology clients on strategy, acquisitions, and exits. Earlier, at Andersen Consulting in Paris, he developed proprietary R&D management methodologies for the technology sector.
Nico holds degrees in Aerospace Engineering (École Centrale de Paris), Aeronautics & Astronautics (MIT), and an MBA (INSEAD). A passionate aviator, he competes in advanced aerobatics and performs with the Yakstars formation display team.
